Hye Mama Jefferson how are you ?

Hiii dear Stephanie, pretty good thank you!

Could you describe your carreer path ?

You know our career path is not that long yet. Mama Jefferson was born one year ago and we had the pleasure to have some really nice adventures in that short time. we recorded our first EP, built a awesome team, played our first big tour and met a lot of good people, listening our music and supporting our message.

Your music lies between exotic sweetness and good big rock! Have I any good till then? Why this style of music?

Yeah, thank you, good description :-) 

We didn’t say: ,,we want to do this and this style of music’’ it was all generated intuitively, because we jammed and wanted to create deep, authentic, bald and direct music. And we wanted to shake people up and appeal some really difficult themes with our lyrics. so it became blunt and raw and a lot of rock’n’roll

Music is (for you) above all a passion, a desire or a need ?
Music is a desire, because it’s the only thing we always did and we always want to do in future. it’s the only constant thing and the way to express our needs, our wishes, our personality and our love.

Tee or Coffee ?

first coffee and than after we’re awake: Tea 

What are your sources of inspiration for writing your lyrics ?
The source is our enviroment, our society and the human behaviour. I think this is such a big source, we could write some more lyrics for the next 150 years :-)

I'll meet you in a cafe with an international star of the song! Who would this star be?
i think it would be Matthew Bellamy from Muse, he's a great songwriter and musician who's really inspiring for me

Classique, rock, électro, jazz or hard-rock ?

All of these, depends on the mood. but we like all of them

What's your best stage memory?

The whole tour we played 2017 and every show had a good memory left in our brain

You are given the opportunity to realize your dream, what would it be?
doing the same thing as we do at the moment we are realizing our dream

Last question to close this interview, we wish you anything for the rest of your musical career?
wish us, that we always can stay ourself, never listen to what other say bad and never forget why we started playing music. Wish us that we never forget, that we are only servants for the people and that it’s time to share some love
