Pedestrians

Hye guys how are you ?

We’re doing very good, thanks !

Could you describe your carreer path ?

We’ve started really young at 17/18 only a few years ago. It was all really relaxed and without any pressure. Some of us didn’t even think of actually performing on stage. It was very much a story that led from one thing to another, slowly bringing us closer as friends and musicians. It sort of always kept increasing in intensity. – probably because we alle found so much pleasure and passion in what we did and do. Therefore it all feels really organic in retrospect. I would say we didn’t push or force anything but took every chance and created as much as we could.

Music is (for you) above all a passion, a desire or a need ?

I’d say, speaking for all of us, it is passion and fun which come out of making music. These are the qualities we probably all have in common. However, regarding different feelings and things we take out of it, I think we are all quite different.

If I told you French song, you say … ?

Je ne regrette rien !

What are your sources of inspiration for writing your lyrics ?

The main source is definitely our everyday life. All of us study next to making music, we have families, friends, relationships, ups and downs. I guess I try to capture what we are going through as normal people our age and express it with words, phrasing and sounds all five of us can identify themselves with. It is very important to me, that the whole band can relate to the lyrics in a personal way. Since we are all so different it sometimes makes it hard to make out links and connections. But every now and then they appear, and if they do, they’re even bolder. Thinking about it, I’d say my band mates themselves are a huge sources of inspiration.

Studio or live ?

difficult. Studio to learn, develop, cry and be ridiculously creative. Live to have fun, create energy, sweat and feel a really pure connection to people.

BB King, Steevie Wonder or Johnny Cash ?

We’d all pick somebody different. I’d go for Johnny Cash though !

Classique, rock, électro, jazz or hard-rock ?

Again, we wouldn’t agree. Jazz, rock and electro are definitely top though !

What's your best stage memory?

One of our sold out release concerts when the hall sang along.

You are given the opportunity to realize your dream, what would it be?

Just carrying on making music and achieve new things musically, personally and in general. And if we are talking concerts : Glastonbury, Paleo, many more !

What is the person you most want to meet all the world of music?

That’s a hard one. I mean we all would love to chill with Bob Marley for sure – But sadly that’s impossible. Meeting Snarky Puppy, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Eric Clapton and John Mayor would be a good start.

Last question to close this interview, we wish you anything for the rest of your musical career?

Good vibes !

Thank you very much for answering my questions, I wish you a beautiful continuation in the art world.
